Winx remains a clear $2.10 favourite in Enhanced Odds betting markets with leading online bookie Ladbrokes.com.au, after continuing her unbeaten run of form this season.

An eight-time winner at the highest level of racing, Winx returned to the paddock in autumn after taking out the Group 1 Doncaster Mile (1600m).

Resuming for a typically-comfortable win in the Group 2 Warwick Stakes (1400m), the Street Cry mare has since taken out each of the Group 1 George Main Stakes (1600m) and Group 1 Ladbrokes Stakes (2000m).

Drawn ideally in barrier 3, Winx will be partnered by regular hoop Hugh Bowman and has been charged with carrying only 57kgs in the Cox Plate, as a mare.

Hartnell has yet to receive a great deal of attention in 2016 Cox Plate betting markets, but remains a firm second-favourite at Enhanced Odds of $4.20 with Ladbrokes.

Hartnell has been a strong and consistent performer throughout his entire racing career so far, but has undoubtedly returned to competition in career-best form this time.

Placing second to Winx in the Warwick Stakes first-up, the Authorized gelding has since taken out each of the Group 2 Chelmsford Stakes (1600m), Group 2 Hill Stakes (2000m) and Group 1 Turnbull Stakes (2000m) by a combined seventeen lengths.

James McDonald will take the ride on Hartnell from barrier 7, and is optimistic that he is on the right horse in the 2016 Cox Plate.

Three-year-old Yankee Rose carries winning form into the Cox Plate 2016 and will leave from the rails draw, with only 47.5kgs in tow.

Yankee Rose returned to racing this year for a close second in the Group 1 Golden Slipper (1200m), before breaking through for a maiden win at the highest level in the Group 1 ATC Sires’ Produce Stakes (1400m).

Resuming this time for sixth in the Group 1 Golden Rose (1400m), the All American filly progressed to second in the Group 1 Flight Stakes (1600m) before returning to winning form in the Group 1 Spring Champion Stakes (2000m) last time out.

Yankee Rose is currently available at 2016 Cox Plate odds of $21 in Enhanced Odds betting markets with Ladbrokes.com.au.

European raider Vadamos ($26) arguably offers punters the best value for money at his current Cox Plate odds.
